How to enter — free route
You can enter for free by sending a postcard by first class post to Free Entries, Beartown Competitions Limited, Lambs Cottage, Congleton, Cheshire, CW12 2DU. Your postcard must include your full name, full postal address, email address, mobile number, the exact name of this competition, and the number of entries requested. One free entry per postcard. Free entries are limited by the same per person entry cap shown on this page and must arrive before the closing date. Hand delivered, bulk, automated or illegible entries will not be accepted. Valid free entries are treated exactly the same as paid entries with the same chance of winning.

Opening, closing and changes
The competition opens and closes on the dates shown above. The Promoter may extend the closing date for reasonable operational reasons or due to events outside its control. This competition is guaranteed and the prize will be awarded. Any change will be announced on this page.

Ticket limits
Total entries available and the maximum entries per person are 500 tickets. Entries that exceed the per person limit may be voided and refunded for the excess.

The draw and winner verification
The winning ticket number is selected at random using an independent random number generator on or shortly after the draw date. Where stated a live draw will take place on the Promoter’s social media channels. The winner will be contacted within 48 hours using the details provided. If the winner does not respond within 14 days the Promoter may disqualify that winner and draw an alternate. The Promoter may require proof of identity and address before awarding the prize.

The prize
The cash prize will be paid by bank transfer to a UK bank account in the winner’s name. The prize is non-transferable and no alternative is offered.

Refunds and cancellation
Entry fees are non-refundable except where the competition is cancelled or where the law requires a refund. If the competition is cancelled all paid entries will be refunded to the original payment method.

Fair play
The Promoter may reject or disqualify entries that are late, incomplete, indecipherable, in breach of these terms, made by bots or scripts, or otherwise dishonest. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Publicity
The winner’s first name, initial of surname and town may be published on the website and social media. We may request a short photo or testimonial. You can object to publication by telling us when notified of your win.

Data protection
Personal data is processed to administer the competition and in accordance with our privacy policy on our website. Entrants can request access or deletion of their data subject to legal grounds.

Liability
Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Subject to that the Promoter is not responsible for any loss or damage that was not reasonably foreseeable.

Social media
This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or YouTube. You provide your information to the Promoter, not to those platforms.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
